Life without JH

Submitted by drtpushr on

Had a nasty nightmare last night. I woke in a sweat looking around to see if I had died and gone to hell. We didn't hire JH. I laid there at 3 in the AM and wondered what the reaction would have been like for others. Are there actually those out there that would have been fine with it? Or are most like me feeling the apocalypse had begun? Could there have been people jumping from buildings as in 1929? It is to me a life changing hire. It gives me hope and enthusiasm in a part of my life that was severely lacking for years. The future looks bright. How would others have reacted to no Harbaughing? Was there anyone else that could have brought this same feeling ?

Wow I wish that is what I could have to worry about last night! lol  I am waiting for a phone call at noon to see if my fiance matched into a residency program or not.  900 applicants for 350 spots in one of the hardest residencies to match into.  But hey man I am still pinching myself to see if I'll wake up and not have JH, in which we would be in big big trouble!

I wanted JH here, but as long as they hired a great coach I didn't really care who it was. well as long as it wasn't Gruden I was going to be fine. that's the most over rated person in the history of professional sports.

Sometimes it's hard to tell if something is a memory or you just dreamed it.  So I asked my boss if I called him a lying, stinking thief or I just dreamed it, and he said I just dreamed it.  Whew, that was close.

I once had a nightmare regarding a Michigan coaching search that resulted in something so horrific I gasped when waking up, grateful that it was only a horrible dream.  Let's just say it involved a Blue sweater vest.
