Jonathan Hankins = Will Campbell

Does anybody else get the sense that big will gave hankins a lesson in...messing with the recruiting sites?? i read that the two hung out a little while big hank was on campus. i mean, there have been reports that hes a silient uofm commit, that staying close to home is more important to him than anything, and we've been his dream school throughout the process. he announced florida as his leader (before he got the uofm offer). then he got the uofm offer, said we were second, said he might not even visit osu, said alabama wasn't even in the picture. now, today, osu is no. 1 after his visit there...florida is no. 2...and uofm and bama are tied at no. 3 and 4!? pretty strange. sort of a wild guess i'm throwing out there...buuut, im guessing that big will told him to enjoy his visits, and get a kick out of messing with all of us while he can. fwiw

I would imagine he would get a little bit of a negative opinion to Michigan after we showed such little interest for so long. Hopefully the additions of Florida and OSU don't turn him away from the playing time he'll get here. Come on down!!!!

Buckeye fans with "insider" info were claiming that Will Hagerup was a silent commit after visiting them. But then again, Marcus Hall said Michigan were his leader after visiting. At least if Hankins announces at the end of this week, we will find out soon.

are worthless. Let me know when he signs a letter of intent to play at Michigan and then we can compare him to Will Campbell or what have you. I want to see them perform on the field. I trust that RR will recruit the guys he believes will help our team win. There are too many examples of athletes that succeed when recruiting sites say they won't or aren't good enough to do so.

Comparisons have been made by the recruiting sites that Hankins is a less fundamental Will Campbell. Their sizes compare and so does their technique. Thats why I said recruiting sites are worthless and if you listen to reports that he is an OSU lean, then you will also believe he can be compared to Will Campbell which is absolutely crazy after watching videos of the two. The only thing they have in common is being excited about their last visit and they are DL...after that their situations are completely different. Big Will committed to UofM and then decided to take visits to other schools Hankins had to wait to his senior year to get an offer. Big Will was a consensus 5* and had early offers from everyone in the country Hankins had some decent offers, but had to prove himself Big Will has and always will be Blue. Hankins is making his decision soon If anything Big Will was like Marcus Hall...

Dammit..when I saw the title I was really hoping the post was written by either The Other Brian or TomVH. I don't think anything is a given with Hankins. He says us not offering for so long won't play into his decision, but he's gotta be somewhat offended by the lack of love for an entire season. Who knows, maybe the coaches kept in contact with him throughout the year and everything really is cool. I sure hope that's the case because for some reason I really want this guy to come play for Michigan.
