Jonas Mouton Punch

Submitted by True Blue Crew on
Has anyone gone to the Detroit News web site and seen the punch thrown by Jonas Mouton? Looks like a cheap shot and I hope RR responds to it! We don't need crap like that going on along with everything else.

How did you post this? Well you: 1. Went to the Detroit News 2. Saw that there was a "video" of Mouton "punching" the ND player and said "man that would be sweet to post on MGoBlog" 3. Type in www.mgoblog.com skip reading the front page (where there is an ACTUAL VIDEO of the incident and Brian's commentary on the incident. 4. Don't read anything just post about this "great find" that you had 5. Get neg-banged to kingdom come so that you can never post again. People come to this site for Michigan information. But I would say a vast majority of people come to read BRIAN'S posts which is why it makes you look like a complete idiot for not reading the main page.

First, I am relatively new to the site and I'm still learning the do's and don'ts. An while I appreciate all the hard work that Brian and others put into this blog I find it amazing that you can be so rude to someone who, like yourself, is just looking for and trying to share good Michigan Football info. I'll take your advice on trying to be more careful about reading the entire content, but do you have to jump all over a fellow fan?!?

and welcome to this E-Blog. Let me help you with the do's and dont's as to this site: (1) Read the content on the front page from Brian, Tim, Formerly and others first. (2) Check out the MGoBoard. (3) If your opinions fit into something already there, fit in there. If you don't see it there, post a topic. Repeat 1-3 every time you return. And since you're new, that's probably why you don't understand that my response to you above is a MGoBoard reference to MGoObes. GO BLUE.

I remember the first time I up-banged you. It was a summer morning. The dew was on the grass. I was titillated by one of your drawings. It was magical! I just hope it was as good for you as it was for me.

Seems as if fall weekdays are the vegetable sides to my Saturday steak. Each Fall day that Michigan does not play is purely filler, dulling my senses, filling me with apathy until those Winged helmets bring feeling, adrenaline and passion back into my life.

The guy late-hit Mouton on the ground. Cissoko, standing nearby, saw that the guy had late-hit Mouton, and also gave him a little shove. That's exactly what I would have done. I think Mouton was wrong to throw that little sucker-punch. I think Mouton needs to get talked to, and the team needs to mete out some kind of sanction. Refs wil be watching Mouton now, the way that they watched Crable. We can't have any more Crable-penalites. But this is no big deal. This was not enraged thuggery like Oregon-Boise State. This was retaliation in the heat of battle, in reponse to what should have been a foul.

I can't even pretend to be outraged at a little rabbit punch from Mouton on a guy who was a little over zealous in finishing his block, let alone getting on a message board to tell other people that I am outraged. I would love to tell you about all of the things that happen in the pile that you obviously have no clue about insomuch as a little punch has you up in arms. You have to be tough on defense and be a cohesive unit to be effective and I would not want a player out there who did not stand up for themselves or their teammates when someone gets a little out of line. I would mention it to Mouton only to reiterate that it would have been a 15 yard penalty and an automatic ejection from the game and he needs to keep his head and put the team first. Also, Charlie is make a big deal out of it because he's trying to deflect the fact that he laid another egg on the field. Sam Young went after and head-butted a guy 100lbs lighter than himself and still couldn't knock him down, so Charlie is trying to deflect the heat from himself and his team. Both teams were battling out there and these things happen in the midst of the battle. ND had all the advantages on paper going into the game on both sides of the ball and CW still managed to under-achieve, so he's making a moutain out of a mole hill so he can point to that versus talking about the play and development of his team.

(which is well deserved, BTW), has me wondering: what is top negBang in MGoPoint history? I'm assuming McFarlin was involved.
