Houston trades Osweiler to Cleveland for bag of chips

Houston send a 2nd round pick and Brock Osweiler to the Browns, who give Houston a 4th round pick and take on all of his 16 million salary. Cleveland fans?

Not a Browns fan, but it makes a lot of sense to me. The pick is probably the most valuable part of the deal, but assuming they aren't flipping Brock, and indications are that they are, taking a one-year flyer on him given the alternatives isn't the worst thing either. The big thing of the deal is that it's a pretty big indicator of where the Texans believe they stand in the Romo sweepstakes.

Yep and bringing TJ Lang in for a visit. That money may they save on Levy may have just bought the Lions the best Oline they've ever had in Detroit.

Levy was no longer worth what he was making, but it's still sad to see him go. He's a really good dude and was involved in a lot of charity projects in the Detroit area.

I don't know whether to laugh at the Browns for wanting Brock Osweiler, or to congratulate them for somehow getting a second and sixth round pick for a fourth. Now it looks like they're trying to shop him for a third round pick. So if that happens they'd end up getting a second, third, and sixth for a fourth? Weird shit if you ask me. Sounds like magic.
