He's 88 years old today. Yes, he's been in a couple movies, but he'll forever be known for, "THIS IS THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN ... WE ARE THE BEST UNIVERSITY IN THE WORLD."

Happy belated birthday to James Earl Jones!
What a wonderful credit to the University, and unabashed loyalty to it! We are all lifted up by his positive attitude and contributions to life in the USA not to mention the world. His work will live for a very long time, and his voice will linger forever in the film industry.
The Lord has blessed us with his presence and achievements!

I don't know but it's very common for actors to hate watching or hearing themselves. Some have never seen most of their own films.

What a voice, and what a great career. I always thought he would have been a great politician. Who wouldn't listen to him give a speech about anything?
