Eli Brooks essay about the season's abrupt end

This is admittedly far from of recent vintage, but searching I don't see that it's been posted previously.  In any case, I stumbled across this essay on the blog of a Michigan english lecturer.  It's by Eli Brooks, recounting the team's experience on the way to, and at, the Big Tournament when the world began shutting down over COVID-19.  I hadn't really thought at the time about the specific impact on the seniors who will never play another college game.  In any case, I thought that it was really interesting to hear directly from a player who is also an excellent writer.

"People were standing around with a few sitting on the bed, all you could smell were farts and smoothies that we had at dinner they brought to the room."

Welp, shut it down. It doesn't get any better than that.

This was great, thanks for sharing. That Moana song would have had me broken up, too. I watched it for the first time when I was going through some heavy shit and the soundtrack gives me all the feels.

It's a nice little read beginning with the minutiae of the team's trip, some ball busting and camaraderie, then a bit of foreshadowing with the "shit's not funny" and finally the full-on punch in the nuts on the bus ride home. I presume it was X... man it must have been tough for him and big sleep

When I was a college student and decided to focus more on sports, life became a nightmare because it was really hard to pay enough attention to sports and to academic tasks at first. I couldn't imagine my life without uk essays at the time.

I don't know if there is a better service than superior essay writing services. I like him absolutely everyone. Starting from how everything is arranged there, ending with the professional work of employees and authors. They perform fairly complex tasks very quickly and efficiently. I recommend their services to every friend.
