I used your post as an excuse to go watch it again and landed on the Dr Sap YouTube that dubs the feed from Mo's headset onto the broadcast video. Right before the snap.. "He's gonna throw it to Desmond and Desmond's going to score a touchdown." A couple seconds later... "Should I be kicking a field goal?" LOL.

My favorite play of all time! That was ballsy play calling and Desmond became an immediate favorite for the Heisman. Beating ND that year was a big deal and that was a great season!
