Bruce Pearl Reportedly Fired (EDIT: at the end of the season, not immediately)
per SEC blogger Chris Low on talk radio. I wonder what this means for Tennessee, but it can't be good.

EDIT: It has just been clarified that he will be removed at the end of the season, not immediately.
There's a bottle in the freezer. Imma polish it off now, in a festive kind of way, because I'm done with finals.
(1.) a presumptive Friday win for the bball team, (2.) a reminder of the ominous firing/terrible sanctions for Tressel and downward spiral for OSU, and (3.) the first sunny/mildly warm day in months = celebratory gin drink
Now your real test begins by collecting ten jars full of halitosis breath.
Somewhere in Ohio, Jim Tressel, just shit a brick.
Lying twice about two secondary violations can't be significantly worse than lying for a long time about a really major one, right? He should be quaking in his boots right now.
Maybe Tress can seek comfort in TP's tatted up arms

should be fired for excessive fruity-ness.
Can you imagine Bo or Woody doing that?

except he wasn't really jumping, and his arms were more in a swinging motion
Sounds like he meant Pearl is out after the season, which makes far more sense.
Yeah, apparently the radio guy misinterpreted what was said on his own show. Regardless, this turbulence in the program has to be destructive, I'd imagine.
I really think that this could go both ways for Tennessee this year in the tourney, they could fall and die(please God choose this one) or they could rally around this and beat us and Duke en route to an Elite 8 appearance
Damn it this is just another motivational ploy, right? Unless this makes them distracted?
All they need is a battle cry.
Soooooo, Friday afternoon then?
<br>
we get to watch him lose and him lose his job double win !
Turmoil can be nice, but the last thing we need is "win one for our fired coach".

Um.....Pretty sure that doesnt always work as planned. I've heard about situations where that actually works against the team instead of firing it up.

This guy got a job on the backs of his boys in the tourney...

But he was the interim replacement, not a lame duck.

Pretty sure there's a difference between Fisher (who got the job BEFORE the tourney thanks to Frieder) and being.......

Michigan wil win on talent and coaching - not a twit that got tweeted

My guess is that the Volunteer players have kind of known this was going to happen and won't really rally around him, but even if they do, it won't matter if UM plays as hard as they have the past few months and execute.
Good to see a guy who deserves to be punished, you know, punished.

If Bruce Pearl gets fired for what he did, what might happen to Sir Teflon Sweatervest who lied many many times over an issue of far greater significance than "who attended my barbeque...".

Its Ohio where nothing bad that someone @ OSU does gets acknowledged, shit I bet they say that Charlie Bauman hit Woody first.
and hope tennessee doesn't
