Been to the bowls' websites recently?

*visits gator bowl site*
*also sees Iowa, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas apparel*
yep
edit: I must say though, thank you. This is not another [REDACTED] thread.

Don't tell me the big Michigan and Florida sweatshirts aren't WAY more prominent than all of those other things you saw. C'mon, man.
And what's with the big picture of the player with eye black that says "We're back" under each eye. Back from what? A two year bowl hiatus? Yes, that could be another coincidence.
But maybe I am seeing what I want to see. Anyway, it is more interesting than talking about <REDACTED>.
BTW, the average high/low temps for Jacksonville is 64/45 on January 1st.

Those are also the two best selling brands in each conference, FWIW - featuring Michigan and Florida prominently for advertising isn't exactly something out of the ordinary.

God I really hope this is the game and Matchup

I agree, the Gator bowl would be a Jan 1st bowl against a team we can actually beat vs. playing a Dec 28th bowl at 10:00 at night against a 2 loss team likely to destroy us.

Watching Michigan play on New Years Day makes me feel like we are back to being Michigan, even if only a little.
Beating Florida as per usual will make me feel it even more.

They lost the last two bowls they've played on my birthday. Please don't let it happen again.

I second this wish. Beating Crier in Florida would do wonders for us in that state for recruiting. Also, the matchup is waaayyyyy easier than Mizz, Neb or OU (Yikes!).

I saw this too. I would love to play Florida again. I guess we will find out for sure Sunday night.

After further review, the evidence is inconclusive. The ruling on the field stands . . . continue believing what you want to believe.

Man...I want the Outback now that I know Gruden and Tirico are announcing.
Gruden "Denard (emphasized in that Gruden way of course) Robinson...what else can I say, the guy's a gamer"
December 1st, 2010 at 1:18 PM ^
LET ME TELL YOU MIKE...THIS GUY, DENARD ROBINSON, HE IS THE REAL DEAL! HE IS A THREAT FROM ANY SPOT ON THE FIELD! HE CAN RUN...HE CAN PASS, HE DOES IT ALL! HE IS ONE OF THE FINEST PLAYERS. NOT JUST QUARTERBACKS, BUT PLAYERS, IN THE NATIONAL COLLEGIATE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION!

Couldn't they do a better job with Photoshop than this? Maybe they should have used MSPaint?
December 1st, 2010 at 2:53 PM ^
Did they photoshop Tirico's head on, too? Thanks for posting that, it's hysterically weird.

are just projected what they would like to see in their game. Yet covering all the bases.

I hope we are selected to the gator bowl. We have a chance against Florida!
December 1st, 2010 at 1:22 PM ^
Was some coach's last game, was it not?????
December 1st, 2010 at 1:35 PM ^
then we hired a new coach, 'rebuilt', then did not go to a bowl the next two years. A trend?!!!
December 1st, 2010 at 3:14 PM ^
It's a new Michigan tradition. All of our coaches play Florida as their last game.

Texas A&M is out as an opponent in Insight because they accepted Cotton bowl.

It's probably worth the gamble to buy gator bowl tickets now. For 94 bucks you can get 20 yard line sideline tickets (Row R) that are classified "VIP". If Michigan doesn't get picked by the Gator Bowl do you think you couldn't sell that ticket for at least double. If I was going to be around to sell them I'd buy a few right now.

It would be awesome to go the Gator Bowl. Also I see that jetblue flys to Jacksonvillege Int. Airport so that is double awesome and cheaper if I choose to go.
