Worst softball draw.

I'm sure scientists have studied the bias in perceptions, that people notice the times the world seems to screw with them more than the times the world gives them good things.

So Michigan teams probably don't get screwed more than average.

But, damn, it sure feels like it.

I find it statistically surprising that despite the fact that the SEC has 7 of the top 16 seeds that only one of them will possibly face any of the top 4 in the PAC-12 and that would be PAC#2 vs. SEC #3 in the Super Regional.  Similarly, they are assured not to face either of B1G #1 or #2 until the WCWS.  Same for the BIG-12, SEC is guaranteed not to see #1, #2, or #3 until the WCWS.  ACC is the only major conference that the SEC will need to contend with, i.e. #1 and #2 teams in the Regionals or Super Regionals.

The point is that not only did the SEC get great seeds, they also get to avoid most of the other major teams until the WCWS.  I can't wait to hear how the SEC is so strong and sent so many teams to the WCWS in a couple of weeks.  /s
