I love this pickup. He was a highly rated recruit a couple of years ago and made a big impact as a true freshman before a somewhat disappointing 2023 season. PFF graded him a 66 with his run stopping (75) and pass rushing (76) a lot higher than his coverage (45). They gave him a 78 in 2022 with an 83 in coverage. He was the reason Alex had Maryland with the 4th best linebacking group among Michigan's 2023 foes in the preseason despite playing next to very bad Reuben Hippolite. Alex will have a detailed writeup another day, since we're about to go on air here in a moment.
Barham from the same hometown as Lugard Edokpayi, who also just committed.

This is a HUGE pickup with Colson and Harrell likely leaving along with Barrett out of eligibility. And this was somehow accomplished without our LB coach who was known as one of our best recruiters. Truly great job by the staff!

I get nervous about the admissions department every time someone transfers in who is not now a true freshman or a graduate student. How many credits won't transfer? Is he agreeable to that? Will admissions do something else to push him away?
