Rank your coach picks? (and other stuff)
And other stuff. It's only taking a bit over an hour and a half to hit 200. Maybe we'll go for 300 (of the non-Spartan variety).
Though about 75 of the last thread might have been about pizza....

First
January 6th, 2011 at 11:00 PM ^
Your first pick?
January 6th, 2011 at 11:01 PM ^
Gruden, I know it's a risk but he could be a master recruiter...this is assuming no harbaugh.
January 6th, 2011 at 11:01 PM ^
I'm sorry, that answer is incorrect. We were looking for something original. Something original. You still have control of the board, please pick again.
January 6th, 2011 at 11:03 PM ^
I'll take future Michigan coaches for 200 alex.
January 6th, 2011 at 11:08 PM ^
I still clicked my downvote even though it doesn't go through. Out of principle. But I have added you to my list for the future.
January 7th, 2011 at 11:54 AM ^
What are the names of head coaches, ages 35 to 50, with successful coaching experience in the midwest? Are there that many? Who would they be?
January 6th, 2011 at 10:55 PM ^
(1) Papa Johns
(2) wait, what are we ranking?
January 6th, 2011 at 10:56 PM ^
1. Patterson
2. Miles
3. Gruden

I'd take any of these 3 happily, and Harbaugh is just a pipe dream. They all have very good benefits.
January 6th, 2011 at 10:58 PM ^
1. John Harbaugh
2. Jon Gruden
3. Patterson
January 6th, 2011 at 11:00 PM ^
1. Tom Dungy
2. Bo Pelini
3.4. Any of the petersens
5. Gruden
Distant 6. Hoke
I have nothing against Hoke but then the rotinue of 9 win season cannot be the reson why we fired RR...
January 6th, 2011 at 11:02 PM ^
And Rex Ryan's brother...but I've never heard of Tom Dungy...where's he coach?
January 6th, 2011 at 11:03 PM ^
Tom's brother Tony might be better.
January 6th, 2011 at 11:16 PM ^
Tom Dungy. How could I forget?
January 6th, 2011 at 11:23 PM ^
Do these guys also know Tom?
January 6th, 2011 at 10:58 PM ^
Patterson
Miles
KABOOM!!
January 6th, 2011 at 11:07 PM ^
Hey.......
You haven't heard any hot new news on the Waiter/Waitress circuit, have you?
That Harbaugh news you overheard is turning out to be a real slam dunk!
January 6th, 2011 at 11:15 PM ^
hahaha I remember that thread!
January 6th, 2011 at 11:52 PM ^
If you want to win, you gotta let him spin...
January 7th, 2011 at 1:38 AM ^
I wish I had the power to pos bang you right now.
January 7th, 2011 at 4:35 AM ^
excellent memory. Hilarious.
January 6th, 2011 at 10:58 PM ^
1. Pelini
2. Pelini - if at first you don't succeed . . .
3. Hoke
4. Cam Cameron
5. Trgovac
6. Miles
January 6th, 2011 at 11:35 PM ^
just saying. Not one real candidate on your entire list.
January 7th, 2011 at 1:40 AM ^
I wouldn't argue, but some might argue that Hoke and Miles are real candidates.
January 6th, 2011 at 11:00 PM ^
1) Patterson
2) Anyone not named Miles or Hoke. (Malzahn, Petersen, Venables are some of the names I'd put in this area)
3) Ugh, Miles
4) Denard
5) Hoke
January 6th, 2011 at 11:02 PM ^
How can you have Denard on your list and put him below Miles. If I were to include M players current, I would go:
1. Denard
2. Denard's dreads
3. Denard's smile
4. Denard's untied shoelaces
5. Molk
6. Barwis (still on staff)
7. Taylor Lewan's tattoo
January 6th, 2011 at 11:03 PM ^
Hope to avoid splitting his focus although Heisman-winning QB and head coach would be mighty impressive...
January 6th, 2011 at 11:14 PM ^
Steps to success.
1)Promote Barwis to HC
2)Find him some real live wolverines to complement his wolves as mascots
3)????
4)Profit
January 6th, 2011 at 11:16 PM ^
Step two should read Replace human football players with trained wolverines.
January 7th, 2011 at 12:11 PM ^
January 6th, 2011 at 10:59 PM ^
1. Patterson
2. Whittingham
3. Throw 4 million a year at Gus Malzahn.
January 7th, 2011 at 9:38 AM ^
I think Malzahn is a name more people should be talking about.
January 7th, 2011 at 9:53 AM ^
that Malzahn would run into the same situation Rodriguez came into.
January 6th, 2011 at 10:59 PM ^
TCU played really well and I think the transition/coaching up of the current group would go more smoothly than other mentioned candidates.
After that, who knows?
January 6th, 2011 at 11:00 PM ^
1. Harbaugh (one or both)
2. Gruden
3. Patterson
4. Miles
5. Space Ghost
6. An unpaid parking ticket
7. Brady Hoke
January 6th, 2011 at 11:03 PM ^
We know he could recruit coast to coast...
January 6th, 2011 at 11:05 PM ^
I probably should have put him ahead of Miles. Wasn't thinking.
January 6th, 2011 at 11:09 PM ^
Out of the dorms...
January 6th, 2011 at 11:10 PM ^
Don't forget George Noory then...
January 7th, 2011 at 1:42 AM ^
When was your first out of body experience?
January 7th, 2011 at 11:43 AM ^
January 5th, 2011
January 7th, 2011 at 1:29 PM ^
But I'd put Charlie Strong, then Brady Hoke, then Miles, who noses out Space Ghost only because of the latter's reputed shoe fetish.
Seriously, I really think Miles would be a disastrous hire. And it's never going to happen. I think John Harbaugh is more realistic than Miles.
January 6th, 2011 at 11:00 PM ^
I don't consider Harbaugh, Gruden, Meyer, or Stoops reasonable.
So...
1. Patterson
2. Miles
3. Peterson.
...
98. LLoyd Carr
99. Brady Hoke.
January 7th, 2011 at 9:42 AM ^
Gus Malzahn. Why isn't he being talked up more? His system would best utilize the offensive personnel they have now. Just puttin' it out there....
January 6th, 2011 at 11:00 PM ^
1. Harbaugh
2. John Harbaugh
3. Belichick
4. Ditka - dude would be a great recruiter
January 6th, 2011 at 11:05 PM ^
Or mini-Ditka?
January 6th, 2011 at 11:14 PM ^
Hurricane Ditka?
January 7th, 2011 at 12:14 AM ^
January 6th, 2011 at 11:00 PM ^
1) Patterson
2) Gruden
3) ...Petersen?
4.) Disappointment : (
January 6th, 2011 at 11:01 PM ^
1.) Harbaugh
2.) TCU's Coach
3.) Peterson
4.) Gruden
And if all else fails Vince Lombardi would be nice
