Open game day thread for Lions/Packers.

as usual, the Lions start the game with a penalty - holding on the opening kickoff and then proceed to go three and out... Go Lions...

[FA Edit: As per usual, ALL NFL talk goes here. Also, remember, sport tags when creating threads: this is NOT football. Please file pro sports under "other."]

I understand why people are booing. Watching the Lions will do that to you. But do you really want Stanton chucking the ball downfield trying to make something happen, given what we've seen so far this afternoon?

now that Flynn is in.  The question is who will suck the least in the 2nd half, if they do suck the least, they will win the game.

I forsee a 3-0 game.  Good thing the Lions have Stefan Logan but the Packers are deathly afraid of him by kicking the ball away from him.

Wow, that video they showed at halftime of the metrodome's roof collapsing was amazing. Oh, they just put it up on youtube Amazing no one was hurt, but I would have been extremely freaked out if I was in the building.

There is a 110% chance that had the roles been reversed the Lions would've gotten a pass interference and a roughing the passer on that 2nd down play.

Although this game has been pretty well-officiated, there's always a few plays that show the calls just don't go both ways for the Lions.
