I've been talking it up all week, but I could really see Notre Dame taking this game. Utah has been propped up on last year's reputation and a "big", week one victory of top 15 Pittsburgh on the road. They've beaten some meh to bad teams by not so great margins, then were blown out by TCU.

Honestly, I'd put Utah around the same level as Tulsa, who ND almost kept up with last week. A big play like that punt block for a TD could be the decisive factor, especially in that rain.

TCU has played well in a lot of their games. SMU was a low point, but rolling Baylor and Oregon State were both good wins, not to mention blowouts. Their defense is still normally VERY good.

Utah hasn't played lights out for the most part, nor have they played teams as good as Baylor or OS. They certainly haven't rolled teams like Boise or TCU.

Cam Newton clearly broke the plane of the goal...but it also seems that Cam Newton gave a few of those church dollars to these refs.  Some seriously comical personal fouls against Gowlja.
