is in the center of a great city with a ton to do.  and depaul just built a brand new facility, though i haven't been in it yet.

imo, the fact depaul didn't have a facility kept that program down; traveling to o'hare for games would absolutely suck.

though the new facility is not on campus, it has to be a huge upgrade.

Went to the Nova / DePaul game last December at their new arena in downtown Chicago. Nova won handily, but DePaul had more than a pulse. Between some of the younger guys on the team and the new arena which should help with recruiting, they might surprise some people in the coming seasons.

As a Providence fan I'm happy to see a good recruit heading to the Big East but DePaul has a long way to go before they can be competitive.  Georgetown and St. Johns have been really down recently and DePaul couldn't even gain on them.  When they joined the conference in 2005 I thought it was great to have Chicago represented but they have been completely awful.

That Carton and Wilson are going blue and he would rather leave the state than play at Rapey U for coach crybaby.....

Or the idea of living in Chicago is appealing to him.
