OT: 2019 in-state OT Anthony Bradford commits to LSU
Muskegon offensive tackle Anthony Bradford committed to LSU after an official visit to Baton Rouge. Michigan never offered him, but he's a 4-star, the #28 OT, and #276 overall. He's also the #7 player in the state.

I'm not trying to stir up the debate about in-state recruiting, but I just think it's noteworthy that a 4-star within the state was not offered and ended up committing to a big-time school like LSU.
The notion that Michigan didn't offer Bradford solely because he wants to play in the south isn't how recruiting works under Harbaugh—they're going to offer everybody they want at positions of need regardless of whether or not the recruit has given them signs he's interested in going elsewhere. We've offered plenty of recruits who are thought to be strong leans for other programs.
That we didn't even offer him is a clear sign that we didn't want him or that he wouldn't qualify.
The answer is that the staff liked other guys more.
And yet we're the ones that scored only 9 passing TDs the entire season last year.
Wizardry, that.
good luck mr bradford
LSU is relatively low on my hate list for an SEC school because of Les Miles and the general non-stop entertainment value of the people that, um, lead that program.
So good luck to him, hope he beats Bama.
why UM didn't recruit him? It could be a 100 different reasons, maybe the kid really wanted to get out of state, or grades, or just wasn't the right fit. Just curious why we didn't offer a highly recruited in state kid.
Academics are likely a concern.
albeit impressively so a few seconds into the plays. Hard to tell how he'd hold up against guys his own size.
