This Week/Weekend's Football Visitors
Michigan is having another pretty big recruiting weekend a week after the "spring game." There are a bunch of 2019 recruits in town, but the most interesting ones might be the 2020 recruits, where there are three 4-star level recruits (Braiden McGregor, Rylie Mills, and Chris Tyree).
In the 2019 class, OG Karsen Barnhart and QB Taisun Phommachanh (Clemson) were supposed to be visiting, but I believe they have both canceled their visits. Barnhart was supposed to commit to Michigan yesterday but backed off that plan.

I don't think he's the highest point user to get the banhammer, although I'm not sure who exactly owns that distinction.

it seems like the OL class is going to better than a lot of us think. We are in the top-3 or lead for some really good players. I think we finish off the class with Zach Carpenter, Trevor Keegan, and another player to be named or Barnhart. That would be a very good class to move forward with. Also, for the star gazers, Trente Jones will become a Mid-200's, possibly 100's ranked player by signing day. Stewart will also be up for a ratings bump, as is Zach Carpenter whom I believe will be a top 300 prospect. So that would mean we could possibly sign 4 4-stars and 2 3-stars.
I would be surprised if we take 6 offensive linemen in this class unless there is major attrition via transfer. The only senior is Bushell-Beatty, and there's a chance that Newsome will receive a medical scholarship. I don't see Michigan replacing 1-2 departures with 6 signees.
(For the record, I'm not saying nobody else will leave, but I can't see Michigan expecting enough guys to leave to be planning to take 6 linemen right now.)
