Game Day! Will it be a paint vs perimeter shooting battle?
Tonight's the night,
it's gonna be alright....
Nothin's gonna stop us now.

I just get the feeling that he's going to have one crazy game in the tournament where we win comfortably mostly because of him. Like a 30 and 10 game. This game or next would be great. I am more worried about A&M and probably Gonzaga than I would be about a hypothetical Kentucky matchup.

I'm hoping they'll run some sets to get Wagner on track early.
like to see Z and Wagner start to take over a little bit, like they did in the BTT.
I don't know, but UM's offense has looked the best when they were aggressive and driving to the rim. Against Houston there was a lot of standing around on offense. Passing around the perimeter and chucking up 3's late in the shot clock is probably a formula for a loss.

would agree...
I'm interested in seeing how they shoot in Staples. Obviously its hard to shoot worse than they did in Wichita, but that arena just had a weird vibe to it and no one looked comfortable. They seem to play well in NBA arenas, so hopefully that continues. I'm also really glad they don't have a late game (their time) because that also seems like it has an impact.

Please stay out of foul trouble, dear German.

As someone mentioned in the game thread last week:
Opposing player stabs Mo in the leg with a knife....foul by Mo.
Let's hope the refs are even or at least let the teams play. We'll need that if they're pounding the paint.

Hoping we are shooting 3's like it was the practice Coach B talked about. If we get hot shooting from the outside and they have to come out to defend opening up their d, MAAR and Z will create off the dribble and it'll be a good night for us.
If our shooting isn't hot, it'll probably be a slugfest and go down to the wire. Are the Aggies good or bad from the stripe?
GO BLUE.

T&M's offensive rebounding rate is something like 35%. Have to stop that.

Get those big guys moving all over the floor when they are on defense. Play them out and make them guard the penetration. Key to the matchup. Load up on them down low and make them hit shots from outside. They'll fold in the end. Go Blue!!!

What's the prediction on split b/w UM and A&M fans in the arena?

which will not be good. Teske is going to be key. If he gets in foul trouble, ugh.
