If you have heard any interviews with him over that last year or so, he's admitted to partying too much and hanging with the wrong crowd. His path to getting clean and sober and staying that way, while trying to make it back to the NFL is what is interesting about this story. Not to mention he was one of the most exciting college football players ever and I would love to see him playing on Sundays again. He and Deshaun Watson would make every game they play in more interesting.

Also, there's nothing like a late CFL game to tide you over at night after the Tigers game is over.

06/13/2018 - 6:00pm Amazon FireStick/TV is great…

Amazon FireStick/TV is great for all streaming applications and has web browser functionality.

As an aside, you can "jailbreak" your firestick and use applications such as Terrarium (what I currently use) or Kodi (might be defunct now) to stream any movie or tv show. Plenty of youtube videos out there to show you how to do it.

06/08/2018 - 1:43pm Can someone expand on the #1…

Can someone expand on the #1 jersey thing? I was young when Braylon played. I remember watching him, but wasn't old enough to follow off the field stuff.

05/25/2018 - 10:55am You have to trust Harbaugh

Not only does he have a proven track record of winning, but Warde trusts him enough to publically say he wants Harbaugh to coach at Michigan for the rest of his coaching career. Let's hope the coaching dysfunctionality is solved with Drevno's exit and the new hires this year.

for his play calling.

Run, run, pass every single series.

05/09/2018 - 2:09pm The issue is...

the bigger games such as MSU and OSU (granted not at home this season) will cost you just as much if not more than buying the entire season. The relatively dull schedule this year probably has the most to do with the lack of interest.

Personally I have tickets in the corner closer to the sideline than not, and I love the seats. I plan to keep my seats and keep inching toward the 50 yard line, so that I can have great seats at a relatively consistent price, and not have to go through the hassle/price gouging on the secondary markets.

for the history buff. Really humanizes some of the great conflicts in our history.

04/13/2018 - 1:43pm We're hardly removed from the title game

and I'm already so fired up for next year. ESPN did not have UM in their way-too-early rankings and I love it. Keep doubting Michigan.

03/22/2018 - 1:23pm Remember

3 > 2

03/11/2018 - 3:50pm I disagree mostly.

I agree that the NCAA would do it to milk a few more dollars out of the tournament.

In terms of the teams playing, I think it would be absolutely miserable to play in that game. It's not like the olympics where 3rd place is still meaningful. There is only one national champion and everyone else's season ends in disappointment. Wichita State and Syracuse would have liked to have had another crack at the teams that just beat them I'm sure, but to play each other in a meaningless game just after their season was essentially ended doesn't sound appealing

In my personal experience playing in and watching tournaments at the youth and high school level, the 3rd place game (if there is one) lacks intensity and just seems forced. Selfishly I would like to watch some good teams play basketball during that lull, but the competitiveness would be down and I do not think the product would be very good.

02/21/2018 - 12:48pm What?

So one real drive resulting in 3 points in regulation isn't good enough? The result of the game is only representative of the team as a whole, not individual parts. By your logic, a running back with 200+ yards and multiple TDs in a game did NOT have a good game if the team didn't win.

I would also argue that any truly great team (National Champion/CFP caliber) has to have at least a mediocre offense/defense if the other side of the ball is actually elite. Is there an example of a great team that won in spite of a less-than-mediocre offense/defense?

02/20/2018 - 3:55pm "Unconsciously competent"

Is an unbeleivable term.

Beilein was describing when a player gains enough experience and understanding to do what's right without having to think about it. Applicable to more than just sports too.

02/14/2018 - 1:40pm Moe on Switches

Seems like a HUGE missed opportunity. Teams are now regularly switching their tiny guards onto Moe because they know he can't post up. It baffles me that Moe has not figured out how to out muscle these guards for position. I don't know if the coaches haven't been pounding it in enough but it has happened regularly since the first Purdue game.

When you get the ball into the post when a small guy is guarding Moe, either Moe gets a great opportunity to score or somebody has to help, opening up good looks from beyond the arch.

02/06/2018 - 12:45pm Am I crazy

to think that M by 1 on kenpom and a 1 1/2 point spread is way too close? I understand that home court advantage is significant, but in this case it's less so. M has had trouble with the zone but Beilein has to have something cooking to beat it. I cannot imagine than M will only score 5 points in the first 10 minutes and they still beat NW by 9 in that game.

01/25/2018 - 1:31pm Doesn't matter

how many NBA prospects you have on a team. Look at a guy like Aaron Craft, albeit very different than this Purdue team, no NBA future but drove us and other opponents crazy for years. Also, Haas arguably has a brigher NBA future than anyone on M, as Moe's draft stock has sputtered this year and others still remain unproven/uncertain.

This Purdue team is dangerous as it has a kind of damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. You have to guard the Haas and double team him with some regularity, but that leaves guys that are on fire from 3 open. Don't double Haas and he'll tear you up inside. And don't forget they have an even taller "double a" in Haarms who is better on defense.

If Purdue suddenly goes cold from three, I'll share your optimistic sentiments.

Apparently Wisconsin fans were so thirsty that they drank the only two bars in Provo dry and gave them their best financial performing night in the history of both bars. They had to convince the bars to open at 10AM so they could come drink.

06/14/2017 - 2:25pm But isn't the idea

But isn't the idea here to still play opponents albeit with a slightly higher chance of loss but still basically a gimme? You still build team chemistry and can develop young/bench players.

IMO there really is not a significant benefit to playing the dregs of the dregs that you can't also achieve playing slightly better teams. In the worst case scenario a loss to one of these teams would also hurt less than say NJIT.

06/14/2017 - 1:32pm What benefits outweigh significant seeding implications?

What benefits outweigh significant seeding implications?

06/12/2017 - 3:25pm I agree

Only bad things can come from playing the 300+ RPI type teams. Lose-Lose situation for M.
