Wichita Roll Call
The main segment of Michigan fans will be in section 115. There will be a decent smattering throughout the rest of the arena, but mostly expect a sea of Kansas blue. Ticket prices online are similar to last year's Sweet 16 in Kansas City. There aren't a lot to be had.
There will be the usual array of scalpers out before the Kansas game. Just be careful if you wait to buy until close to tipoff of the Michigan game -- I'm sure somebody will try to sell used tickets from fans who left after the first game.

from the Michigan band got the word not to scream through the game. You could hear it loud and clear on television but I guess it was not that loud in the arena.
Unlessin' you're a hog or a cattle.

The trains are used for more than cattle there.
We've seen this before.
I will be there. Given the distance to the arena and the late start of the game, my wife insisted I stay in a hotel and not try to drive home after the game. She's usually right about that sort of thing and has more than once prevented me from being penny wise and pound foolish; I have a 15 minute drive after the game instead of a 2 1/2 hour one.
Too funny. Sounds just like my wife.
the band director needs to tell her to shut the fuck up if she wants to remain a band member. JFC.

My wife and I are here. As previous poster mentioned, the cluster of Michigan fans is in Section 115. I would suggest getting the cheapest ticket you can find. Most KU fans will leave after their game to go out partying. You will be able to move to a much better seat. We saw no ushers checking tickets on Thursday, including the people who were initially squatting in the row behind the Michigan bench that was eventually occupied by Beilein's family.

Nobody seemed to be checking tickets in my section either. If you're worried, though, you might be able to score a better ticket just by asking at the end of the first game. Head downstairs and ask one of the fans who's leaving if you could have their ticket stub. That's what the people behind me during Thursday's game did.
