Selection Show Open Thread
Happy Selection Sunday everyone! Sadly, it's not a great year for this holiday in sports due to this sleepy show...I thought it was still gonna be bad, but it would be better than I expected. Now that I'm seeing this format, there is clearly nothing they have up their sleeve! Way to make a boring show astronomically more boring CBS! They literally sucked all of the remaining excitement out of this show.
It's on TBS as controversially discussed, as well as the CBS Sports App and probably the March Madness App.

they are small...really small. just don't let their 2 guard make a bunch of 3s like he did today and we can shut them down on D.
good luck with their 6-7 center guarding Mo and their 6-3 third guard covering matthews. could be a break out party for him in this game; including some offensive rebound putbacks.
We draw the toughest 14 by forever per Ken P., the toughest 6 who plays an 11 that is among single-digit seeds per Ken. And the lowest 1 and 2. I'll take it.
Get through game 1 and the 6/11 winner has short time to prep for our O. Get to the second weekend and the time to prep for UNC helps, and we can handle anyone in the top half.
I really like our chances to get to SA, TX. We can play with anyone in this tournament.
Just like Iowa took us to OT in the 1st game in the BTT. Get past Houston, and our game in LA is a home game - just like NYC.
Just more fuel for the fire.
Houston and M both force 13 TOs a game, but we commit fewer than them. If we can board, we'll get the stops.

I guess if I were to make one request to TBS, it would be to change everything about what I just saw and make it......what's that word......oh, entertaining. Yeah, entertaining.
Doing the at-large bids like that was....annoying, and that's just for starters.
I can't believe I'm saying this: I was actually EXCITED to switch to the Bracketology marathon on ESPN after that stupid show.
That says a lot.
