Victim's Dad lunges at Nassar in Court

I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. Father of 3 daughters assaulted by Nassar asks for 3 minutes alone with Nassar. When judge says "you know I can't do that" father lunges and has to be restrained and handcuffed out of court. I can't even imagine what it'd be like to be any of the victims or family members in this situation and hope I never have to be.

But sadly one of the worst things a father could done in this situation is actually kill Nassar with a BJJ-style throat punch.  In a just world, sure, he pays a $5 fine.  If I was the judge, my sentence would be to throw the father a ticker-tape parade.  But as we know all too well it's not a just world.  And a guy killing even someone like Nassar out of nowhere puts a prison sentence on the table, and the last thing a victim of Nassar wants, on top of her previous rape, is to also lose her dad to that asshole.  It's noble of the dad to be willing to go to prison for his daughter, but I can almost guarantee that she'd rather have you in her life.

The officers and other officials will pounce on anyone leaving their area in a second. You see how quick they had him down to the ground? He BARELY left his box.

I'm pretty sure they knew stuff like this would happen and were on serious high alert. Maybe I'm wrong, and this stuff happens more than I think, but I can't think of any serious case like this where someone did some massive harm to the person being sentenced.

I was hoping one of the officers would have " accidentally "  hit Nassar as they were going to keep this Father away .

It was heartbreaking reading the statement from one of the girls of this Father .

No way DOC lets this guy get killed. He’s way too high profile. He’ll get his own cell with a TV and probably get a library job or teach classes. Oh well. Still some justice but it’d be cool if he was “penetrated” you know, for medical purposes.
