I haven't seen any contact lately between him and the staff, I could be wrong though. Partridge was with Otis Reese this week already and Harbaugh with the Rice OT. No Friday that I've seen. He is probably a Buckeye. This recruitment sucked. UM got beat on this one.

Hey Tyler I know you won’t read this but your lead recruiter would be at Tennessee right now if their fan base didn’t lose their mind over the hire. He’ll be gone soon enough. Also, he had a high probability of knowing that Jerry Sandusky was molesting children and did nothing.

This might be the most depressing recruitment of the year. Make a player at a position of need a high priority for mutliple years, lead with him, and then when OSU misses on a couple of higher rated targets they come calling and flip him in a matter of months.  That is the type of shit Michigan does to to Purdue, to have it done to us is a sobering reminder of just how far behind as a truly elite recruiting power.

So you are telling me hat Michigan cooled on every top prospect in the 2018 recruiting class? Quite the interesting strategy.  Its clear the coaching staff failed in 2017, from gameplanning to player development to recruiting.  Given 2015 and 2016 we can hope that was a blip that happens to everyone but Saban and move on, but to pretend like shitting the bed in every aspect of 2017 is just part of some grand plan is a little weird.

This recruiting class is still solid, although not elite. And yes, we probably cooled on a few.

However, the mounting problem is that while in Years 1-2 it's easy to sell recruiting based on excitement from a new hire, when you have nothing in terms of results to sell going into Years 3-4, recruiting will fall off. We need to start winning a few big games.

That's how that should have went. I get the negs, I'm just staying optomistic. I have a good feeling that this team will have a great year next year, no more acts of God or punters who can't fall on a ball or refs who can't correctly measure a football. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. It's happened before. I trust how the staff scouts. Let's all hope the offensive line resembles a funcational unit next year otherwise a defensive tackle recruit (granted a position of need) will just not be that important in the grand scheme.

You’re not going to get every recruit. Man some people have posted the same thing on all three Friday posts. We can’t close. Oh GOLLY JEEZ, HARBAUGH can’t close. It’s so sad. Let’s create the fourth thread, this Friday on Friday, committing on Saturday! Oops I️ meant on Friday, again!

It's probably better to say that it would have been bad if Friday kept his original announcement date of last weekend, which his father let slip shortly after Partridge (his recruiter here) was said to be leaving Michigan, so in a way its...better.

That he then held off and didn't put out a new announcement date until Partridge's contract and staying time here was verified at the end of this weekend might provide an indication that he is interested in Michigan as long as Partridge is around, but that's a bit of tea leave reading.

In short: it will be good if Michigan gets Friday, and it will make a lot of superior feeling OSU people upset, which is a double win... however almost all the CB's have him going to OSU.

That Tyler only delayed his announcement in an attempt to garner more interest. Someone leaked news of his impending commitment to OSU and ruined his "surprise" video release last week...

only thing that changes these types of recruiting concerns. I don't fault the kids as they are getting told quite a bit of information during these time. Harbaugh will develop the talent and win with the guys that truly want to be here. It amazes me how often the players elect to return to play his final year here. Doesn't  fit the narrative that everyone outside the program keeps preaching. When we see the results of this on the field the rest will follow. Quarterback seems to be the only thing he hasn't done well so far. I am pretty sure he is tougher on himself than we are as fans. Brighter days ahead. Go Blue!!

Meyer takes a kids verbal and then talks all of them into spreading them out and or leading other schools on. I know 2 kids who were told just that at Florida and 1 that's a current Buckeye now from California.

Meyer is not dumb and he maintains momentum when it's needed and when it's low.

I just want Harbaugh to get back to basics and bust some ASS on these kids and win some fucking Rivalry Games!
