MBB: Michigan at Iowa

I think this is THE most important game of the year. for many reasons..First its a road game to team weve lost 5 straight to..with 2 home games coming up we can be right near the top of  the standings..We have a favorable schedule and could be  15-3 next week and getting to  20 plus looks very doable and we wont be sitting on pins and needles come selection day..and we will have MOMENTUM and will just get better and better as the season comes along...HUGE for us

Very poor end of game. But luckily we had built a big enough lead so that it didn't cost us. Team needs to learn that killer mentality down the stretch.

Good to beat Iowa, especially there. Little nerve-wracking at the end, but at least they didn't get too close, and we get a road W.

Hope Livers keeps improving and gets to start.

Any road win is a good win. Definitely a good confidence builder. MAAR looked great tonight.

What would be nice is if we could consistently shoot like we did in the first half.  Then we're a pretty brutal team to play.  Especially when Wagner gets right again.

Simpson was so good tonight and deservedly played the whole second half.  Took away the Bohannan threes so Iowa really only had Cook.  Our interior defense struggles, especialy when Mo is on the floor.

MAAR has upped his rebounding and passing feels like and become a pretty complete player.

The three freshmen are really solid and with next year's class we look like we're set for a while, maybe some early growing pains when we're young.
