My playoff beard is currently at about a month and a half's worth of length. I started it right after the Olympics finished, and I take part of the credit for Detroit's excellent play down the stretch.
Here's to two more months of playoff beardedness!
showing your actual face on MGoBlog?! i am not sure about the wisdom of this move.
Why do you cut your own hair?
I would if I could, but I can't so I won't.
a->b, !b->!a
I actually haven't shaved since last years cup run. I do keep it trimmed up though. But right now it lookin pretty good and im expecting it to be a pretty good length once junes rolls around.
yes, that's right - I am a Lego.
The secret is out.
BTW how are your brothers Liam and Noel?
Shaved it Wednesday and am currently sporting the stubble. My beard got gigantic last year until I hacked it off angrily after game 7.
As soon as the final whistle sounded in game 7 last year I hacked mine. I coudln't stand to see Cindy raise the cup. Still haven't seen it to this very day.
I shaved Sunday night, i sport a trimmed beard year round so i thought i should start anew for the playoffs. I am about the same as you, little stubble that is getting a little long. I think by the end of round one i should be getting back to my normal length after trimming.
Just in case you were debating whether or not to grow a beard (for any reason), just one more reason why you should: http://chronicle.com/blogPost/The-Trustworthiness-of-Beards/22581/ (Provided you don't want to be an underwear model.)
My MgoBeard is about a week in, and you still can't see it unless you are a foot away from my face.
... we're growing playoff beards! Bring your green hat!!
I don't shave it off at the end, either.

I meant to shave Sunday in order to start it exactly for the playoffs, but I forgot...
So I already have a beard and it shall grow on until we bring home the Stanley Cup.
Does that mean I'm always in the playoffs?
