Per ESPN: We're fairly happy; Staee fans are miserable

Michigan is the 22nd happiest fanbase in the country.  I trust that in the next two or three seasons (after more double-digit win seasons and hopefully some B1G championships to boot) that our joy will propel us into the top-10, whatever that's worth.

Staee fans, on the other hand, are #115 in the country (third lowest Power Five).  This time last year, they were crowing about their recent success, which no doubt was substantial.  But now they're ready to look for a high bridge.  I guess that's what happens when you base the entirety of your emotions on how another program is doing.

Clearly they didn't poll somewittyname or half of the people in the peppers kneeling thread last night. T'would have brought down our average like a rock.

I am pretty happy and very hungry for wins. State fans are always miserable fucks. Even during the heights of their run of the last few years, they delighted more in our failures than reaching the zeniths of their own program's success. They are fatherless fucks and generally scum. We know this.

After a few stunning years of success that coincided with a couple of bad decisions in selecting two new coaches here.

They stupidly thought that this would continue into the future with their grumpy coach.

Well guess what?  Normalcy has returned and Wolverine superiority will continue well into the future.

It couldn't happen to a more deserving group of fans.

#22 is actually fifth in the Big Ten, which I found kind of surprising, but then it does a heart good to see Rutgers fans happier than Michigan State despite being wholly unable so far to do more than say some very terse words - to no effect - to those trampling the garden.

I am also pretty sure Purdue's ranking is largely driven by Jeff Brohm realization of what he may have gotten into in West Lafayette.

I'm pretty sure #22 is close to the ceiling for Michigan fans. We could win the national championship five years in a row and still find something to complain about.
