OT: Empire or Rebellion?
Who do you like?
I like Team Empire:
-Pax Vader insures prosperity & peace
-Minimal government interference on empire planets
-Defense against any threat
-Stormtroopers are badass & obey orders
-Rebel uniforms suck
-Rebel planets will fight each other if the Empire is defeated
I would agree with you except all their troopers are cloned warriors...they don't utilize Empire populace to fill their ranks.
All the Empire planets in the movies, unless my old brain is failing me, seem to be fairly autonomous.
Weren't all the storm troopers cloned from that one mercentary guy?

No. After the first batch, stormtroopers were recruited and trained from the populace.
Also, how can you say that Empire planets are autonomous? When the senate was dissolved, Imperial governor's had direct control of everything. And they enslaved millions and millions. Tell the Mon Calamari they're autonomous; tell the Wookies. Hell, tell Lando and his Cloud City.

Plus the clones were made in Sparti cylinders. No wonder why they couldn't do anything right.
Vader would #Forcechoke the Drupal hamsters and I guarantee they would run on the treadmill without asking for breaks in the future.

That game was cool as hell.
Personally, Star Wars Rebellion was my jam in the late 90's. Think Civ in real time set in the Star Wars (extended) Universe. The bad voice acting alone was worth days of my childhood.
Oh lord I logged so many hours playing Tie Fighter on my old HP back in the 90's.

I'm a big fan of the Empire if not for the shoddy marksmanship of the Stormtroopers. Have a little pride in your accuracy for crying out loud.
Everyone knows the E-11 blaster rifle was mass-produced for pennies on the dollar and had ridiculously terrible accuracy. :)
There was actually some Star Wars video game where if you picked up a stormtrooper blaster nd shot it, the shots went out in rather random directions. I think it was Jedi Knight or Jedi Knight 2 back in the 90's.
It started in Dark Forces.
That was it. Couldn't remember the name.
In the OT they're both badass in their own way
