Saturday night drinking thread

Why not get it started. I've been working on a growler of Rail Trail Pale Ale from Four Leaf while watching the bowl games today. The Houston/SDSU game has been decent thus far. Should be a good second half. What are you drinking? EDIT: Just made this the drinking thread. While I was typing, someone made the night games thread.

we are finally getting some good snow up here.   about time.

the proud owner of a 2 hour nap on the couch this afternoon, next to the fire.  kids and dog nearby.  Christmas carols quietly in the background.   tough last month at work is all worth it. 

and now some red pop.

and in the end the alcohol consumption is pretty low, but here goes: Asbach Uralt brandy added to a fruit compote (berries, cherries), brought to a near-boil, then poured over vanilla ice cream. First encountered in German restaurants. A great dessert.
