Takeover of Spartan Stadium

The fans at the game were amazing. Can't lie, I got choked up and misty eyed as all the M fans filed out of section 105 singing the Victors as the MMB played their postgame show. Great win.

Crazy. We were surrounded by sparties which was fine. There was a 40 ish dude with his wife. A crew of 4 kids that were 12-ish. 2 chicks that were students at msu. Every damn time we'd cheer at least one from that conglomerate would give us shit for being classless other whatever. We're all late 30s dudes. We dont run our mouths or nothing. It was the dumbest thing I've ever seen. It almost got to the point we felt bad for every time UM did something good. WTF is wrong with these people? Weirdest shit we've ever seen.

Im in a remote corner of the world in Padagonia , the Magellan Straights, Tiera Del Fuego and Padagonia...God I love my job...Anyways I Digress..today is the last day and we sailed into Puentas Arenas headed for Santiago then Home..There are 75 people with me and 7 were Michigan fans from all across the country...we are all huddled in the airport watching the first half on one guys cell phone who got service before leaving..Up 24-10 but then were off and No internet ...it was DRIVING ME CRAZY...I had to know what was going on so I asked a crew memeber in very bad Spanish if she could ask the Captian for a update...she looked at me like I had 2 heads and pretty sure didnt have a clue what UM-MSU was..I found someone in our group who spoke Spanish and tried the request again...10 mins later our Chilean Pilot on LATAM announces the final score and in all different sections of the A321 u could hear Whoops and hollers...I know everyone else thought we were flat out crazy but it was a GREAT moment in time..Here I was at what is called the "End of World" and we are cheering on the Wolverines..My co-worker a Va Tech fan leaned over and said..Man you guys are EVERYWHERE!

Upper bowl looked empty

I started laughing watching on TV when I could hear the crowd yelling McDoooooooommmm!!!!

Thank you to everyone that went to the game. It was beautiful seeing all that maize and blue in the stands.

never been there before, but what a shithole that stadium is.  My God.  Troughs in the bathrooms.  Narrow concourse.  Paint peeling everywhere.  Old fencing on the ramps to the upper deck with like 100 coats of paint on them.  Place is a complete dungeon.

Probably half of the upper deck on the east side were U-M fans.  View was not too bad for being way up in the nosebleeds.

seemed well represented.  Maize really does pop in opposing stadiums

I'll take the win. The rest is gravy/style points.

The whole stadium minus the student section had a distinctly maize hue which only got stronger as the game went. It was beautiful to see

Section 5 was 90% Michigan fans. Well done everyone way to represent!

It was at least 50/50 near us, if not more Michigan fans. I'd say it was 40% Us / 60% throughout the stadium.

all the folks dressed in blue had come in Maize. That blue actually outnumbered those of us wearing Maize. If we had all been maize it would have been amaizing. It was still AWESOME!
