Wow, I thought last week was bad having to wait until 3:30.... Now we have to wait until 7pm. What's in your glass/cup this morning and how well you pass the time until kick-off?

enjoying a slow Sat. morning for the first time in 5 weeks. Looking forward to sitting down and watching all the games on TV today. Need to head out for bagels and a trip to the local farmer's market. Love buying fresh apples and apple cider to feed my honeycrisp addiction. I'll buy some Brussels sprouts to have with braised short ribs tomorrow, too. Need to get what should be the tail end of real local grown tomatoes, too. They beat the pants off the trucked in crap you get at grocery stores.

Coffee, apple cider in a bit, and then stopping to get a couple sixth barrels for the game tonight. Any ideas for solid fall beer options? Heading to the wine palace in Livonia, they usually have a strong selection of ready-to-go kegs

Coffee this morning. No breakfast for me but prepared a nice fruit platter for the kids' breakfast. Also making homemade beef stock with some knuckle bones - which I will use tomorrow for beef stew. Wife is going to Lansing this afternoon, so I have the kids. Don't have a second car (yet), so may just try to find something fun to do in the afternoon local here in Birmingham.

Traveling from TN to IN this evening. Going to have to watch the game on my phone. Thankfully, I've got unlimited data!

I'm watching this tailgating special on the food Network while making some Neuske's . They just made a rice krispie treat stadium with gummy bear players on a coconut field and frosted pretzel goalposts and a chocolate covered almond football. I'm hungry.
