New Trap Games?

Submitted by M Ascending on
With Indiana displaying uncharacteristic tenacity against State, especially on defense; and with Maryland begin to play like a solid team under Durkin, do we have two serious trap games to worry about -- Indiana between road games at State and Iowa, and MD. Between Iowa and OSU?

Those are two teams I'm not worried about being trap games. The way Indiana has played us every year with that offense, they're definitely not creeping up on anybody. And none of our coaches especially Harbaugh wants to lose to Durkin.

Maryland is an empty shell, with wins against nobodies. Indiana's offense is not even close to what it was last year, and their defense is just as bad. And we have both at home. We won't be taking MSU or Iowa lightly, but neither is looking very formidable at this point. Illinois and Rutgers are baby seals.

Trap game? Consider the looming battle with our permanent historical rivals in Piscataway.

Fortunately no team today has a squad featuring the football gods that propelled Rutgers to their first ever Big Ten win. Against Michigan. Yes, that Michigan. Our Michigan.

Who can forget the immortal Kemoko Turay stealing victory from the jaws of defeat with his unforgettable field goal block?

I can't. I'm sure that it is not only the great Brady Hoke who has Scarlet Knightmares, knight after endless knight. For it was that game that broke Hoke; it was that game that made Hoke a joke.

Many of our current players were on that team. Many of their players were coming up under the Immortals who beat Michigan.

The blood has dried a little, but I say:

Never Again!!

Who's with me?

Indiana has been a trap game since before the season even started. Leidner will be looking for vengeance, at least until our DL staples him into the ground!
