Inside the Huddle
It is mostly coachspeak but hey, it is football content!

"There will be, as there always is in the game of football, one quarterback who starts the game," Harbaugh said.
I concur.

(alledgedly) over the "hand picked" McCaffrey this year. I saw a thread here recently where McCaffrey threw for a touchdown and caught a touchdown pass. It sounded like he was a starting QB... somewhere...

Let's get through the 1st series of the Speight era first.

Let's not forget that there was other competition. Malzone, Gentry and Morris were all more highly rated. Going into last season a lot of us would have projected Speight to be behind all 3 by now.
The poster prefaced his comments on Speight becoming a two year starter, not just starting now. So he'd still have to hold off Peters, et al next year.

If Harbaugh had ever coached Denard and Devin on the same squad...

you are Michigan, 2012. In that case, you start two quarterbacks or one running back and a wide receiver, depending on how you look at it.

Everything is a competition

Q: "Would you like to tell us who the quarterback is going to be?"
A: "I don't see the competitive advantage in doing that."

10am to noon Mon thru Fri on WTKA. Heavy focus on football. No dog content. No Tuesday tailgate treats. Just meat and potoato football talk. No getting caught up on social issues. If I want that I'll tune into CSPAN. Lots of interviews with former players. I highly recomment it and it is easy to call in and opine.

There are times to play it safe and there are times to live dangerously. Risk-Reward. Speight-O'Korn. You will see them both when the time and circumstances call for it.
