For all of the doom and gloom in this thread you would think we're down by 15 at half. However we're only down 4 and really haven't done anything fromm behind the arc.

Or Irvin getting absolute abused down low worse than anyone else. At least he fought back the latter half and started being physical down there. Needs to continue. For all bigs down low

DJ Wilson didn't know where he was on the court and turned the ball over, got away with a travel on his basket, and gave up like 8 offensive rebounds in a row before they finally got lucky and got the ball. He also committed the same dumb foul Doyle did twice. I agree that I'd rather see him playing that Doyle or Wagner at this point, but I'm not sure what he was doing that was overly impressive.

What is with all of these big men appearing to have never played the game of basketball before. They seem utterly shocked when the ball comes their way either bobbling it or panicking and taking extra steps? It's really odd.

Wilson was late otherwise he would not have had to catch it underneath the basket...he's been physical and is actually boxing out...better than doyle or donnal...u must be watching a different game

Doyle, Donnal, Wagner & Wilson, we only have about 4 years of total experience. Plus they are giving away height and weight in addition to exerience to Purdue's bigs. It will be nice when our guys are seniors.

is virtually NO improvement over the last 10 games or so...Usually with JB you can see teams getting better and better but not this one they are stagnant and still dont see alot of emotion or enthusiasm...I want to see some FING INTENSITY

We need this game. Softball got spanked by Florida, and then women's lax coughed up a three-goal lead to Florida, including the game-winner with ten seconds left (Florida is very good at wlax). Tough losses.
