12 Wolverines headed to NFL Playoffs
I tallied this myself, so it is susceptible to errors, but I count 12 Wolverines headed to the playoffs. A few are injured and won't play. Here goes:
-Jason Avant (Chiefs)
-Tom Brady (Pats)
-Alan Branch (Pats)
-Frank Clark (Seahawks)
-Kenny Demens (Cardinals; injured)
-Devin Funchess (Panthers)
-Leon Hall (Bengals)
-Thomas Rawls (Seahawks; injured)
-Jake Ryan (Packers)
-Michael Schofield (Broncos)
-Fitzgerald Toussaint (Steelers)
-LaMarr Woodley (Cardinals; injured)
Let me know if anyone sees anything I missed.

Fitz might actually be forced into a lot of playing time due to injuries. Hope he can step up!

Seems pretty likely at least one former Wolverine will win a SB ring. Only 3 teams in playoffs do not have a Wolverine (Vikes, Texans, 'Skins) and I would consider it a major surprise if any of those 3 even made the SB, let alone won it.

It's a shame that Texans don't have any on their roster. May be Jake would make a good backup compared to the ones they currently have.

Harold Goodwin (Arizona Cardinals - Offensive Coordinator)

Love seeing Avant still in the league. I have a soft spot for players that were at UM while I was.

Rookie Devin Funchess is really starting to break out after a pretty slow first half of the season.
Go Funch! Go Panthers!
