Was Captain Cook Exposed?

He certainly is no Cousins.

Is Jake Rudock the Better Qb after all? In terms of leadership and respect of teammates I'd say so.

Saban will never leave for the NFL again. Everyone and everything in Tuscaloosa bends to his will. What he says, goes. If he went to the Board of Regents at Alabama and asked for the school's name to be changed to Nick Saban University, they'd probably do it.

The NFL is a different world, and given his last stint there, I think he'd rather remain God in Tuscaloosa than risk being mediocre in the NFL again.

Quoting a former President, "it;s the talent, stupid".

This gamereminded me, unfortunately, o our little tangle with OSU.  When a team with a lot of talent, AND ARE FOCUSED, plays a team with some talent, it ain't purty.  The difference in talent level is whatstood out to me.  Fortunately, our Jimmy will be able to recruit the talent; Mikey D has reached his ceiling.  That ceiling is two floors below Jimmy's.

Let's stay the coursefor a couple of years an see what happens.

Cousins or Cook ... ... ... Cook or Cousins ... ...

Ah yes, the CoCo vs. KiCo debate. It will likely be played out in Spartan living rooms ("By the by, has anyone seen the settee? I could've sworn it was here this morning.") for generations to come.

Apparently my attempt at MSU-fan-base humor fell flat.

The joke here was that - in this particular erudite Spartan living room/household, as the Coco vs. Kico debate was raging - the settee was missing because it had been taken outside and set aflame. And, even in the most erudite of Spartan households, they still cannot resist their basic urge to set furniture on fire.

Hilarious, yes?

Oh well, it seemed funny to me.

Yes, I know: "Thanks for playing. We have some lovely parting gifts for you."

He was hurt and this is still Alabama he plaued, but he's not an NFL starting QB right now even healthy. He'll definitely get a chance and could be a good starter, but I can't imagine most scouts came back thinking he was demonstrably worse if they had scouted him properly already.

I don't usually watch sparty. However, it was great watching the fall after being exposed to the attitude of some of their fans recenty. I'm sure they will be out in full force rooting against Michigan today. It's their life. Pitiful. ..

Speaking of "it's their life" and "pitiful," You realize there's six MSU threads on the first page here right?wheee is the citrus bowl thread? It's been six straight weeks of hardcore dedicated, maniacal rooting for team X against MSU at this place and finally some rejoice that they lost to the eventual national champion.

I remember before the season started he said he came back for his senior year because they had some bigger goals to achieve. I assume an embarrassing shutout on national TV on primetime was not what he had in mind.
