Updated 'Crooting Pool
I am putting projections for the class in long form in diary every few weeks or as conditions change materially (will do update at end of week) but here is a short form for main board of remaining prospects as I am guessing in terms of probability. Obviously 2 names will fall one way or the other by Thursday at 12:30 PM.
I am also projecting Kiante Enis (Indiana visit this weekend, said a few weeks ago only 1 contact from UM in a month) and Weaver (Temple visit) out of the class by NSD to open 2 spots.
Obviously which "category" someone falls in is subjective but tried to put them in appropriate pods with info we have now and then a few guys at bottom of the chart I just can't tell. Someone like Allen could also come out of the blue as we saw tonight.
Guys like Murhphy and Onwuzurike still have UM interest but is there room for a DE in class - I would assume we are recruiting them in case other guys fall out of class, and it's better to take talent no matter the position in the last few weeks. Same with someone like Hudson.

Gil is 215 lbs and Brian has him listed as a LB in useful stuff so technically we have 2 but those 2 certainly are not "recruiting services favorites".
UM letting reese walk is being used by some as a reason to be confident on bush. Bush seems like both UM and FSU insiders are confident.
Jones seems to be 50/50 ND vs UM at this point.
Jackson unfortunately it seems we are getting hurt by the Durkin departure.

It depends on how you define a linebacker. Reuben Jones and Shelton Johnson could both be 3-4 outside linebackers.

I was hoping they could project to something like that, but I wasn't sure.

would push the class above no. 6, possibly to a top 3 class.
But missing on all of the "Less Certainty" list would leave troubling roster gaps at LB and DB/CB.

I would project it more like 7-8 because other schools also will add high end players to their classes. We had the #4 class in 2012 and #6 in 2013 so more important is to actually have guys to develop them.
No one is going to catch OSU, LSU, FSU, Bama at this point as the ave player rank is 91+. GA's is too but they only have 14 commmits so we'll see how Smart finishes the class. So that is most likely the top 5.
UM, Stanford, PSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, ND, and MSU look to be in some order of 6 thru 12 in the end depending on how they finish. Clemson should displace 1 of those as they have only 13 commits but a 91 ave player rank too.

I don't care what else happens, but we MUST sell our souls for a guy named Boss Tagaloa.

I just watched a Gary video on scout, and Rashan made several points, "if football doesn't work out, he wants to be in charge of people and not people in charge of him" being one. I thought of a post a while back about an Osu commit say something along the lines of sMeyer telling kids he will "hook them up" if they don't make it to the nfl. Beings that Gary really wants to make it to the nfl(my perception of the video), would he choose the path of least resistance or will he embrace the power that is #Harbaugh? #Baughlieve the hype Gary. #Baughlieve

On a side note, OSU lost 2 recruits yesterday.
Tristen Wallace, 4* athlete, decommitted yesterday in favor of Oregon
Dexter Lawrence, 5* DT & n°2 DT after Gary, chose Clemson over OSU
S**t happens, even to the best ;o)
