The "University of Michigan J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Head Football Coach Jim Harbaugh." I'm an IP lawyer, and would never advise a client to attach such a verbose tag to another human being. It's over the top in this context, Harris Family, please amend accordingly. Sheesh.

We may as well return the money, kickstart, and name the position appropriately:  The "Frank Crawford, Mike Murphy, Frank Barbour, William McCauley, William Ward, Gustave Ferbert, Langdon Lea, Fielding Yost, George Little, Elton Wieman, Harry Kipke, Fritz Crisler, Bennie Oosterbaan, Bump Elliott, Don Canham, Bob Ufer, Bo Schembechler, Gary Moeller, Lloyd Carr, Rich Rodriguez, Brady Hoke and James Joseph Harbaugh Head Football Coach Of The University Of Michigan At Ann Arbor." That's vastly superior to low-class 'Jersey wanabees. Period.

I think these are excellent choices really, and indeed, if under Harbaugh and the environment he has supposedly created these two arose as leaders than it says much about them as competitors as well.

I will say, however, that it is difficult to believe that they are in the waning days of their eligibility - I remember when they got here and it doesn't seem like it was that long ago.

I have been having the same thoughts in regards to time flying by with a lot of players. I think some of it has to do with the fact that a lot of the players have not been being molded into anything special until they're upperclassmen, so a lot of the names get pushed to the back of my mind until that happens.

that Bolden was selected as a captain. It was reported that he rallied the team after Hoke was fired. I hadn't heard any reports about Kerridge's leadership. I suspect he's more of a lead by example type rather than a vocal leader. Looking forward to both of these youngsters representing The Team.

along wih Morgan.

Not surprising at at all IMO. Two older, dedicated, hard working guys according to all the reports you read.

Might be the most information we've heard from 'camp submarine' this summer.
