Jim Harbaugh, I'm Not Worthy
I got sick this week and missed work.
How many MGoUsers out there could honestly make the claim, "I don't get sick"?
I've met a few machines that would go on ~five year stretches without taking a sick day. Me, I usually have one or two sick bouts a year of one or two days each. How about the rest of the board?
EDIT: for MattisonMan

Why are you people so proud of not taking sick days? I think you're doing it wrong...

Guys....I think I have a problem. Not being sick in years? I didn't know that was possible. I'm always sick. If it's not an actual disease, it's my allergies and the kicker is I don't know what I'm allergic to (I know it's not animals or grass). No matter the season, most mornings I'm sneezing/coughing and it gradually goes away as the day progresses. I used to take allergy medication but it didn't help much.
Every year in school I would, without fail, get bronchitis probably due to UM's dingy dorm rooms and my dingy room when I moved into a house. To top it all off, I'm asthmatic (not too serious).
I used to think this was all normal, now I'm just trying to imagine what it would be like to be not sick for 5 straight years. Wtf is wrong with me?

I didn't get sick until after I graduated and the Air Force shot me full of inoculations with machines that looked like Wagner power painters... I was a human pin cushion for my time in the service and believe to this day, my immune system has suffered for it. No empirical evidince to back such claims up -- just shit I went through that's all.
I was sick this weekend. I slept in my bathtub Sunday night because I couldn't stop barfing. I couldn't even hold plain water down. Which led to dehydration. Which led to a raging fever. Took Monday and Tuesday off.
More power to Harbaugh I guess.

At Union Pacific, you're allowed to layoff (call in) 7 times per quarter, plus your vacation days and personal days. Yeah, they're getting used

Real sick days in the past 20 years of my career = less than 5.
Fake sick days in the past 20 years of my career = too many to count.

Was sick growing up probably 8 times. Legit sick in my entire life around 12. Averaging about once every 2.35 years. Clearly proud if it. Haha

I've never been sick in my 28 year career. I get 4 hours of sick leave every 2 weeks and and have a big sick bank! I had the flu once on a weekend I was off but was well enough to not miss work. Some of my co-workers get sick a lot, just to save their leave!
