On offense, we need more penetration into the paint...we don't really have any post players, so this is imperative or we're going to get killed all year. Whether it's an easy bucket, free throws, or a kick out to a wide open 3...all are far better than passing around at the top for 28 seconds and then hoisting a contested jumpshot.

That's our 3pt shooting in the first half. I don't know where to start. 17 3's is way too many in a half, i don't care what your offensive philosophy is. Second, only made 4??? REALLY???? I almost can't watch

just settling for jumpers its terrible. Manny needs to start driving and taking it to the hoop. The last couple of games he settles in the first half and then starts taking it inside. Michigan also looks like they have no athletes compared to BC but this isnt really the case. Even if michigan is a shooting team you can't take 17 threes in the first half, BC does respect anything we do inside. Maybe if simms can get going it would open up good looks for us.

Yep, I will comment/bitch about this all year long. Manny needs to quit shooting 3-pointers period. He needs to drive and create 3s for our better 3-point shooters and shots for himself at the bucket. If Manny stopped shooting 3s we are 3-4 wins better this year.

Most of the threes we've taken really haven't been bad shots. It's just that somehow, the entire team is stone cold. DeShawn shouldn't be shooting any, though. He's got to get his damn head under the basket (and in the game).

This team will never be to the level we want them to be if they can't rebound. Every game it seems like they are totally dominated on the boards. Probably bc they lack size down low but you can't be successful when you don't rebound well.

That's not entirely true, although the Tom Izzo Doctrine seems to have every Michigander believing that rebounding is more important that points in basketball. In reality, I think a combo of taking high percentage shots and forcing turnovers are is cure this team needs.

Do we even run an offense? The whole first half it seemed like we would just pass it around the top until someone jacked up a three. I am not a fan of not taking it to the basket. No one can guard Manny if he takes it to the hoop. Just drive and dish already.

when he gets the ball inside he hasnt done anything and we never give him the ball...and the team is just disappointing right now they have a lot of potential to be good, but to make the tourny they are going to have to play good in big ten play since they'll have no good out of conference wins

If we go 10-10 in threes to close this game out it is still pretty bad. No rebounding and poor shooting will not win us many games this year. Lets hope we can get hot and out gun some teams later on.

Anyone keeping track of how much we even CHALLENGE for offensive rebounds? Every time someone sets up for a shot we clear out from under the basket. Ugh
