For an alleged West Coast Offense Guy

That should be 70% of the playbook.

F*ck Yes

Funchess

There

appears to be a QB coach on the payroll, but I never see him on the sidelines with Gardner. Oh wait there he is up in the booth fondling his face and too preoccupied calling a terrible gameplan to have the time to coach the QB on the sidelines during the game.

TWIS

It was humorous

Honestly it had a better production value than most of the SNL skits over the last 15 years or so. NARPS>>>>cats shooting lasers out of their asses or whatever.

Because

he wasn't from Pahokee

Meh

This guy is such an enigma, great international player, was a huge bust at Bayern. I think the Premier League will eat him alive. Wenger is such a tightwad when it comes to transfers.

Funny thing is

He was obviously teammates with Nick Perry, so how the hell did all the scouts that were around the program scouting Nick Perry miss on this kid?

BING!
Day 3

NSFW

Some user over on 24/7 has this Kate Upton photo, I thought it would fit perfectly.

97.1 the Ticket reporting also

Just heard Doug Karsh report it on 97.1 and read some quotes from Trey Burke himself that he will be returning. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Multiple reports of couch burnings, rowdy activity in E.L.

10:20 p.m. Police scanner traffic and eyewitness reports indicate that there are multiple reports of fires, fireworks and arrests in East Lansing.

Staff reports indicate that there are fires in the the Cedar Village neighborhood, Harrison Road and Elm and Milford streets. Fireworks were reported near Abbot Road.

Police officials reported that “there’s not a lot going on right now.”

House designed by OCC?

If this had any

truth to it, then Brundidge probably wouldn't be leaving. I'm calling bullsh#t on most if not all FREEP stories.

On GBW radio

last Sunday I heard Sam Webb mention this Serbian/Canadian kid Stefan Jankovic that Michigan is interested in. http://www.umhoops.com/recruits/stefan-jankovic/

IN THE MAC!

So what?

Average EPL players?

This season Clint Dempsey is 7th in goal scoring in the EPL and 1ST among midfielders. Donovan has only played a few months in the EPL over the last two seasons (on winter loan) and has made a big impact both times. Both are far batter than AVERAGE players.

Move over John Edward

"Michigan lives and dies by the 3 da derpee derp, Ohio is 13th in the country in 3pt defense tum te taly da derpee derp DUM." "13th in the country in 3pt defense"? IN THE FREAKING MAC, MORON!

Hmm

I thought Russell Crowe was supposed nudge all the Aussie recruits in our direction?

VALUE CITY

Probably picked it up at VALUE CITY ARENA. You always find clothing irregulars at Value City.

Wheatley, Hart, Leoffler and who knows maybe even Woodson.

The Wings

are laying some big hits tonight. Great game thus far.

WOW

Filthy goal by Datsyuk there!

Shattenkirk

my second most favorite name currently in the NHL.Number one on my list is Clutterbuck, who I love to call Clusterfuck.

Let me guess

Shane didn't give you a Valentine card in 3rd grade right?

I have a great idea!

Let's schedule 4 Big Ten bowl games on tv generally around the same time. So that Big Ten fans can't fully watch and enjoy a couple of them. Oh wait, I just checked the schedule. It looks like someone at ESPN already beat me to it. Darn it!

OMG

This thread is so bookmark worthy. Hilarious stuff guys! I'm in stitches laughing at some of these.

Braxton Miller

just went from being a problem for defenses to being a complete nightmare! As much as I wanna poo poo this hire, I can't. Being honest about it this hire. It's a great situation for Meyer to walk into. With Miller and a young defense to work with. Meyer should hit the ground running.  I used to like Urban Meyer, but now I hate this mothershutyomouth. In the end, it's good for the B1G to have Michigan and "Ohio" back at the top of the conference.

I specifically

remember the phrase uttered by many talking heads "if you don't even win your conference, you shouldn't play for the national championship". But now because it's the SEC we'll just forget all about that. I say if the BCS pulls this crap this season. Then all non-SEC fans should just boycott watching this game. Personally I don't feel like watching that field goal crapfest again anyways.

Were Michigan and

OSU overranked that season? Or do crazy things just happen in bowl games? Give a good coach a month to prepare for a game, some will stick to their same conservative script ie Lloyd and The Vest. Others think outside of the box and throw in new wrinkles to surprise their opponent. SEC SEC SEC.

Hoke

Doublepointbunnyears owns all points.

SECESPN

If a 2 loss LSU team got to play for the national tile a few years ago, then why are all these 1 loss teams being thrown out of the discussion right now? This is all driven by ESPN and their SEC bias. Other than LSU beating Oregon have these idiots even glanced at some of the SEC non-conference scores this season? What about Boise St.? What about Va Tech? Oklahoma St. lost a close game this weekend, They didn't get blown out, and they still have a big game against Oklahoma this up coming weekend. The Cowboy's offense looks amazing this season.

Would rather

see Michigan play a Va Tech, Clemson or an SEC team. Sorry, I just can't get excited to see Michigan play any mid-major, no matter how good of a season said mid-major is having. What exactly could Michigan gain by beating Houston? Losing to them would be embarrassing. Lose/lose situation either way.

Probably when Charlie Batch

Probably when Charlie Batch was QB at Eastern.

Looks like

a cupcake game for Sparty every year. I still can't believe Indiana and Sparty are a protected rivalry. I want MOAR teams in the B1G so we can get rid of shenanigans like that.

ummm

I thought Purdue was supposed to be one of our easier games this season?

I know who he is

He was a Detroit Pistons 1st round draft pick BUST! That's who he is!

SO...

There are some actual advantages to using a Qb under center with a proper snap count for more than 10% of the play calls? Also, where was that Wing T Diamond formation thingy? Would've been nice to pull that out a couple plays during that game. Hell if they're gonna run Denard 30 carries a game, might as well just run the triple option j/k. No matter what the play call is defenses key on Denard every play. So give the damn ball to somebody else FERGODSAKES. You might actually fool a defense once in a while.

Agree

What Denard needs is a cheesy 80's montage. The type where impossible is nothing. And you can go from tool to cool in less than 5 minutes.

Make em say Ughhh, Ughhh

"This is the second consecutive year a player has been knocked out late after the game is decided by a dirty hit. Look at Dantonio's jaw… you are feeling very sleepy… you cannot put together incidents to see a pattern forming… so much… fake… bible… Spock."

Got a chance

to watch SDSU vs. Wash St. this morning on the Mtn. Network. Let's just say they played like a Brady Hoke team. Wash St. held their own for the first half of the game. SDSU was a different team in the second half. Forced a couple turnovers and scored 3 TDs in the 4th quarter alone. SDSU's QB Lindley is stricly a prototype pocket passer. So that's atleast one area the defense can take a deep breath.

However, SDSU's RB Ronnie Hillman will cause the most fits against the Michigan defense. He's a strong little ball of hate and he's quick. He accounted for 4 TDs and almost 200yds against Wash St. They also have a TE Escobar who lines up at WR a bit. He's a beast and could be big problem for the secondary especially on saftey blitzes. He had a couple TDs as well.

SDSU's defense is small but fast. They have a quality LB #54 he's good. Their run D is shoddy though Wash St. didn't seem interested in running the ball much. Denard and the RBs should be able to move the ball fairly well against them. SDSU flies all over the field and have an oppourtunistic secondary that ballhawks. I would suggest Denard not throw many jump balls, because they will look to take advantage of those inaccurate throws. Borges needs to just keep it simple. Short passes to the RBs,TEs, screens and deep balls that only the WRs or the turf can touch.

All in all SDSU looks like a quality MAC team. Michigan should be able to beat SDSU by double digits. Just don't let this team hang around, because it could end up far more interesting than it should be.

Those are hilarious

The Michigan State Baylor SpartanBearPigs.

Yep

Heard it as well, had to rewind the dvr a couple times just to double check.

Hmm tough one

If we're speaking Australian here I'd 'root' MSU. But somewhere between the flag planting antics, the App St. taunting, the '300' references, the Valenti's of the world, the Izzo worrship by the media, and last but not least that mouthy SOB Dantonio. I've grown this strong distaste for anything Sparty. I don't like Notre Dame, but I hardly hear about Norte Dame anymore. The last 3 seasons have sort of given me a glimpse of what Notre Dame has been going through for well over a decade now. I sort of pity them. Don't you?

Great post!

I laughed, I cried, I fopped (with both hands). The defense has loads of work to do to get better. But with young guys like Jake Ryan and Jabril Black the future looks bright. The screencap of the Denard gang tackle is sweet, but horrifying at the same time. Those gang tackles won't always end with Denard coming out unblemished. SLIDE SLIDE SLIDE.

Yep

That's how I feel about it as well. beat some B1G teams. And then it's time to start thinking about rankings. Notre Dame is no longer a measuring stick game.

Hopkins,Smith,Shaw

The 3 RBs had a combined 8 rushing attempts. Let me repeat that again. The 3 RBs (Hopkins,Smith,Shaw) had a combined 8 rushing attempts. How can can anyone even expect any results from the RBs out of 8 rushings attempts? Denard had 16 rushing attempts for 98yds (those are pretty damn good numbers). Cierre Wood alone had more carries than all 3 of Michigan's RBs and Denard combined.
