While we hope that these kids see the light and appreciate how much Coach Harbaugh and staff will develop these kids, but what amazes me is that kids who think they have a shot at playing on Sundays, don't appreciate the value in playing "up north" vs, playing in the sunny states of the SEC/ACC/Big 12 (minus 2) and the Pac 12. IIRC, the following cold weather teams do not play in domes:
- Chiefs
- Broncos
- Patriots
- Packers
- Bears
- Ravens
- Bills
- Bengals
- Browns
- Giants
- Jets
- Eagles
- Steelers
- Redskins
Thus playing in the B1G helps acclimate these southern kids better.

Enduring winter for 4 months far outweighs having to practice outside in the south during the summer IMO. Seems like hell on earth. Put on some boots and a jacket, take some Vitamin D and quit bitching. Most of the world's great cities have a winter.

Exactly what value does playing up north during college provide for going to play up north for an nfl team? The players like being in the south because it is more fun to go to college at a campus that is sunny all year round, where there is a beach nearby and the women wear sundresses all year. It's not like a souther california summer is any worse weather wise than a Michigan summer and the winter is a hell of a lot warmer. And hell outside of like green bay even the coldest weather teams are still playing in 50 degree weather for at least half the season.

Sundresses?

I've yet to see a kid claim he was staying in the south or out west because of weather. They likely don't go far from home because of just that...it's home.
It just seems like a lazy trope fans of SEC schools blurt out on Twitter when they're creeping on southern kids that are visiting northern schools.

To still recruit him during this time period ? If so, Harbaugh and Dirkin should still try and pull him in.

If my memory is recollecting correctly, I thought he added Texas A&M for the last weekend the week prior.. It was a last minute add-on and why most people were surprised of the visit...

Every school's pitch: remember that time we didn't lie to you about a major part of a life-changing decision?

I think we have a real need and a path to early playing time at LB.
Come on down!!!

Man, this would be huge. Continued LB depth is a staple.
