Auden Tate re-tweets

Submitted by Mattavious on

I know these went out yesterday but I hadn't seen anything posted on them.  I did a search before posting this and couldn't find anything on here.  These are some retweets by Auden Tate and at the bottom we can see he started following Jim Harbaugh as well.  It is going to be interesting to see what happens with recruiting when it is all said and done.  I believe Harbaugh can still get us a top notch class.

Disclaimer:  I do not have a twitter account and I do not tweet players but I do search them for recruiting tidbits.  Also, I know there is probably a better formatting for this but unfortunately I do not know how to do it.  Sorry.

Durkin was doing a pretty solid job of recruiting before things went south for Florida. The only Florida commit we've offered is center Tyler Jordan. Durkin also recruited Adonis Thomas to Florida, but Thomas flipped to Alabama when the season went down the tubes; we also offered Thomas long before he committed to Florida, but he never really showed much interest.

Here are some other players Durkin was responsible for recruiting:

Jerome Baker (Ohio State commit, previously committed to Florida)
Justin Hilliard (Ohio State commit)
Keisean Lucier-South (UCLA commit)
Jeffery Holland (uncommitted)
CeCe Jefferson (uncommitted)
Tanner Muse (Clemson commit)
Rashad Roundtree (Georgia commit)
Roquan Smith (uncommitted)
Josh Sweat (Florida State commit)
Darrell Taylor (Tennessee commit)

All those guys had Michigan offers except for Roquan Smith.

I can't recall specifically, but did Tate visit for the Maryland game? I seem to remember him being on the list. Also, I think he was one of the first visits McElwain made the moment he set foot in Gainesville as well. I thought he was committed to FSU as well - still, hopefully we see a few steals with several of these recruits now having at least on eye on Ann Arbor.
