Is The Site Due For a New Banner?
I think in past years that a new banner usually goes up around the start of the football season. Am I right about this? If so, I would like to see something that includes a sea of Michigan helmets like so. I have always loved this image. Anyway, I just threw this together for fun and know that it will never end up on the site. I am way too excited for Michigan football. I don't think I am going to get a single thing done this week professionally.

I believe the picture was snapped by someone on staff with MGoBlog (Fuller?) so they are especially proud of it. I recall Brian saying as much sometime in the last year

the design in general could be loads better. These guys have concentrated on getting us marvelous content, but at some point it could be time to forgo the mgoblue look. (Well, that's execrably bad, but I don't find the surroundings here inspired. Easy for me to say!)

I honestly would like to see a banner with either a sea of helmets or one of devin gardner, I think he really deserves a lot of recognition for the way he has stayed with the team, done great in school, and became a leader we desperately needed.

Seconded, the banner has been a outgoing senior for a while now, and Devin would be a solid choice considering all he's been through. The alternative would fit the theme this year that they are a team with no egos or named leaders.

does anyone remember when the current banner was last added?
We played at Iowa last year so...That picture is nearly two years old. Quite possible that the banner was updated last year with that image, I just can't remember when that took place.
