Trey's Tweet and Support from Former Players

Submitted by bballislife22 on

Trey Burke just tweeted the following (don't know how to embed):

I wonder if crean did the same thing he did last year after the game in Ann Arbor? Karma, It comes back to bite you eventually! #GoBlue

I love the support that we've been getting lately from Burke, Hardaway, etc. If players are leaving early for the draft, which seems like it's going to be somewhat of a regular thing under Beilein, it's important that these guys still stay connected to the program for publicity and recruiting purposes. Serves as a reminder to recruits about Beilein's recent success in getting players to the league.

After seeing Crean for the first time in person last night, I see him as a joke at this point. I didn't realize he was miniature. He's also a habitual line-stepper. You can see the joy he gets when he's allowed to stand outside of the coaching box. It's like it makes him feel empowered, as is he's this highly-respected coach that is given preferential treatment from the referees. In reality, they probably just can't see him because he's like 4'10".

is a first-class asshole.  Can't believe the ref let him touch a player during play without T'ing him up, but then again the refs were incompetent boobs last night too.

I just don't understand why Crean gets the special treatment he does. He certainly hasn't earned it. At least Izzo has done something. At one point yesterday, Crean was so far out on the court (with the ball on the SAME side) that he passed in FRONT of the official. He had to be physically pushed back several times. Argh.
