See a need, fill a need.

Bunch of huge games going on right now and a couple big ones later on.

#3 Virginia trails by 10 at #18 Louisville at half, a half that saw Louisville knock down 10 of 16 threes while UVA went 0-11 from behind the arc

#5 Tennessee leads by 5 at #13 LSU at the half. LSU star PG Tremont Waters (the dude who destroyed us in Maui last year) is out today with an illness and probably would've been a huge boost to LSU's upset chances today

In Big Ten land, Penn States leads by 7 at Illinois at halftime. Would be nice to see them collect a few more Big Ten wins to take the stink off our road loss a bit

What are you watching today?

Purdue's road to only 3 losses has been to take care of business, losing only away games to Mich, MSU & Maryland, while squeaking out road wins @Penn St, Indiana, & Nebraska.

Michigan's road has been more of a hot/cold team.  Michigan can look very good, but it also can pull a stinker against lesser teams.  Hopefully, the stretch urgency brings out the very good Michigan in all remaining four games (3 of them difficult).  Purdue, meanwhile is a significant favorite in all of it's four remaining games, but I'd consider @Minny to be more difficult than the ESPN matchup predictor assessment (71.7% Purdue).

Carsen Edwards is now shooting 38.7% on twos and 29.8% on threes in Big Ten play, good for an eFG% of 42.0. That is hot garbage on a plate.

Just a side note: looking ahead at OSU's remaining schedule, it's no cakewalk, and that's an understatement. At home vs Iowa, at Purdue, at NW, and then at home vs Wisconsin. I think they'll be fortunate to go 2-2 there; I'd wager they will go 1-3.

NIT bound, at best, I'm thinking, for the Buckeyes.

Thoughts and prayers.
