Marquette would be an interesting matchup because we could put X on Marcus Howard. He's got 34 of Marquette's 57 in this game.

Dude is good but yea, would be interesting to watch. Z I think would hold his own but I'm not sure he would completely shut him down. But holding him to 20 instead of 38, and letting the rest of Marquette squad try to win would probably work out well enough. Maybe?

I think the combination of Coaches Beilein/Yaklich and Zavier would beat Marquette.
I like our chances against any team that relies on one great scorer.
Marquette and 'nova put on a pretty exciting show, that's for sure.

Got tickets as a Xmas present from the wife. Made the trip up for my first game and what a game. The refs sucked in the first half. Poole and Teske got them to half all square. Matthews flipped a damn switch in the 2nd half and balled out especially late. Iggy was not good today. The finish was awesome. The wife and daughter had a great time. Still trying to take all that in. Great day!

I think confidence matters, for some players. Matthews!! Playing with confidence was extremely impressive. He has to play with confidence or it gets ugly. Iggy, always confident but not necessarily a pure shooter but competes like no other and he needs to be on the floor. Teske is probably in between. He plays hard no matter what but plays best when he has some confidence. Doesn't have to always be on because of his tough D. X is at the top of the food chain when it comes to toughness and tenacity. Not sure he needs confidence since he's always going at 110% and mph. Poole has confidence galore but a little sporadic. I love Livers. Once he breaks out, he's going to be even more fun to watch.
Great win today. Matthews and Teske were great. Wisconsin had guys chucking up 3s and they always seemed to fall whereas we missed seemingly every open look. But the defense was pretty fantastic. Solid win!!

Great win. The schedule is both interesting and ridiculous. I like heat and pressure but it seems out of touch with reason.

As much as I loved getting revenge on Wiscy today, it's hard for me to hate those guys. Ethan Happ is a very good basketball player and very classy. He helps up or makes an effort to help up opposing guys if he bumps them down. That's pretty rare.
