What offensive coordinators can we realistically get?

It would take Harbaugh ceding control, but at this point, anyone who does NOT subscribe to this "keep away" ball control style. That just doesn't seem to cut it beyond a certain level of competition now.

Keep away
Ball control
My guy(s) is better than your guy(s)
Body blows
Ground and pound
Run to set up the pass

Nobody worth a damn will come unless Harbaugh agrees to relinquish control like in a normal HC/OC situation.
But that's not gonna happen w/ Harbaugh.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:32 PM ^
What does it matter? Harbaugh has to show a willingness to change his offensive philosophy. So far, he has not.
Until he does, these discussions are a moot point.

Pep is a disaster he cannot come back next year.

What coach worth a damn would want to come work for the dumbest fuck in the country? Jim Harbaugh is hands down the most overrated coach to ever stand on the sidelines. Don Brown is lucky Harbaugh exists because he is a close second.
But nothing will change next year, no coaches will be fired, and it will be more ass kickings from teams with a pulse and more sunshine blowing from the dumb asses here who refuse to open their eyes.
this program isn’t worthy of a good, young OC.
Holy shit do I hate Harbaugh.

Then stop being a Michigan fan. Nobody on this site will miss you.

The offensive philosophy is the problem. We’ve seen them run creative plays they just aren’t run with any consistency or sense of cohesion. They happen sporadically and often when the team is already in a big hole. The question is can Harbaugh find someone to help him run the plays he wants with better strategy.

Anybody.......literally anybody would be an upgrade.
but we won’t get anybody that doesn’t want to work under Harbaugh. Which is nobody.
i just hope Warde Manuel has seen enough to realize that the time to pull the plug has come

You're a moron, stop being a fan and stop coming to this site if this is what you're going to contribute.
Third 10-win season in four years. Not at all how we would like it to finish, but can you name the last time we've had three 10-win seasons in four years?

I don't know what I expected when I looked at the comments. Huge mistake! Some of you people are the biggest fair weather fans ever and I can look at your past comments to prove that. Yes that suck balls, but this had nothing to do with offensive play design. The plays were there, you have to execute though. If you don't think Bush not playing didn't contribute to this being so lopsided you're full of shit. I can point at four huge edge plays that would have made a world of difference. Because of the defensives poor performance it changed the outlook of the offense. And yes Karan Higdon would have helped. But the last two games have fallen on the defense.

1-9 against top ten teams. I do not agree with the people saying Harbaugh should be fired right now, but Jim was brought into to do three things. Win some big games, win conference titles again and not get dominated by OSU. He has not done any of those and pointing that out is not being fairweather.
December 29th, 2018 at 4:01 PM ^
1. It's hard to beat top 10 teams especially not at home. Look at analytics. 2. 3rd 10 win season in 4 year. Hasn't happened since 97-99. Before that was in the 70s.
Yes I agree some adjustments need to be made, but the fire him thing is insane.
Also, we all know they unofficially won against Ohio State two years ago, but got screwed.

Great football contribution. I'm sure that is the extent of your knowledge.
December 29th, 2018 at 3:48 PM ^
Nobody innovate is coming here as long as the head coach's offensive philosophy is what it is, so don't get your hopes up
December 29th, 2018 at 4:02 PM ^
Won’t make any difference until Harbaugh is no longer the coach it will be his offense

The Offensive line needs some growth. The quarterback play wasn't as accurate down field as we needed. 4 players quit on their team. This blowout has a responsibility that is shared by many period. HB can't play. The play calling isn't the problem. That said, I expect an OC this off season. But I must say, I wish another QB in the stable with a more accurate down the field arm steps into the spotlight. That would make the coaches look like geniuses.
The OL will continue to develop depth with the 2019 class and Warner at the helm gives me a little hope.
