Shea Patterson Returning For Senior Year
Michigan quarterback Shea Patterson repeatedly has said during the season his experience with the Wolverines has been the best of his football life.
With that in mind, Patterson has decided to return to the Wolverines for his final year of eligibility, he told The Detroit News on Friday.
“I think my original plan was to come here and help the team out as much as I could,” Patterson, who transferred from Ole Miss a year ago, told The News. “The thoughts were maybe come out after one year, so I think there might have been some speculation there. At this point, I feel like everybody thinks I’m coming back. Excited to get that out there so they know.”
Unless Patterson has the same injury fate that Wilton Speight did this will be the first time in Harbaugh's tenure at Michigan that he has returning starter at QB for most of the year.

Awesome Shea! Glad you’re coming back.
Now let’s hope the coaches use your talent while they have it!

Great! I'm glad Shea will be back. I hope Harbaugh opens up the offense more next season. I think we are going to have to score more points to win the B1G next season. Shea will probably be in the top 5 to win the Heisman next season. I hope he does and we beat OSU at home, win the B1G and make the playoffs. MK chat with us again!

Very happy for the potential of the offense next year. This is great for our continuity and I think Shea is our best QB. On another note, can anyone teach Shea not to pat the ball prior to every throw?

There is a lot of talent in the QB room.

Great news, if pass pro improves, Shea could be legit scary next year.

Only good news if Pep is gone. Otherwise he will keep running the dual fullback, three tight end offense

Observations like these are important and tend to get lost in the sea of social media.
Thanks for the good stuff, Brian!

This puts us back on the track of starting QBs for two seasons and reloading like we did in the 90’s (Grbac 90-92, Collins 93-94, Dreisbach 95-96, Griese, Brady, etc). All NFL talents and QB was never a concern.

Hail! Glad to hear!

Are we concerned that he is blocking Mcafferty and Milton who may be better?
