"FWIW Sam Webb disagrees with this conclusion"

I can't find anything on Webb's twitter showing that statement or sentiment about KD.

If he did say that, I don't know why Sam would be climbing that hill, given this statement by Deloach:

"I'm locked in," DeLoach said.

He went even further, confirming that he will sign with FSU on Wednesday, adding that his parents were completely on-board with his decision at this time."

Unless the kid is just flat-out lying, or unless his father is going to make the decision for him, this one's over.

The recruiting last class and now this class are setting us up for a pretty mediocre future. This was the year and still the d was a mirage and the offense boring and straight from the 60s.

OSU has an average class of #3 the last 5-6 years, meanwhile, Michigan is signing classes in the 20s.

More ass kickings from OSU, more finishing 3rd or 4th in the B1G east. More disinterested teams losing in bowls they clearly don’t want to be at.

I can't decide if this is more A Few Good Men:

Get me the President on the phone. We're surrendering our position in Cuba.

or Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure:

Bill: Ted, while I agree that, in time, or band will be most triumphant, the truth is, Wyld Stallyns will never be a super band until we have Eddie Van Halen on guitar.

Ted: Yes, Bill, but I do not believe we will get Eddie Van Halen until we have a triumphant video.

B: Ted, it's pointless to have a triumphant video before we even have decent instruments.

T: Well, how can we have decent instruments when we don't really even know how to play?

B: That is why we need Eddie Van Halen!

T: And that is why we need a triumphant video!

Both: Excellent!

"the offense boring and straight from the 60s."

I watched UM in the late '60s and was in school starting in '71. Only somebody with their head up their ass would assert that our offense is "straight from the '60s" or the '70s.

Says he will sign on Wednesday and his parents have agreed. So much for that...

"And the parents have agreed."

Uh, no they haven't. Dad just stated pretty emphatically that that hasn't happened. Then he offered this...

"We will evaluate everything tomorrow with my family. (Kalen) will call all three schools on Tuesday and let them all know his final decision" - Rob Deloach

He said his son was on a "visit high" when he commented, which is what he expected. That's why he always planned to let things settle for a day before sitting down as a family to discuss things.

Every family doesn't handle the recruiting process the same way. This family's process is different than most. It'll be an interesting to see how it plays out.
