OSU is a bad defensive team and OK offensive team. They struggled to score vs Nebraska, MSU and here today.

 

 

The coaching staff has some big introspection.

It's interesting watching OSU basically play like they did against everyone else this year in this game, as opposed to the terrifying ball of knives they looked like against Michigan.

Sure.  But it was still an outlier performance in a ton of ways, and I have a hard time squaring this NW team, which UM held to about 200 yards of total offense on the road, getting close to 350 yards of total offense in about 2.5 quarters against OSU.  Michigan played poorly but OSU also played out of their minds on both sides of the ball.

The only conclusion I can come up with is that Don brown needs a co-DC that can teach bend don't break defense. NW D playing better and their ball control offense looks better. What a wasted opportunity for M. Hope coaches are seeing this.
